Barmouth Beach sits on the idyllic west coast of North Wales and is nestled between craggy mountains and the often crashing sea. The beach is located in Snowdonia National Park and has a harbour area crossed by the impressive Barmouth Bridge which marks the beginning of the Mawddach Estuary.

A traditional seaside resort, Barmouth is ideal for family holidays with miles of soft golden sands and safe paddling in the bathing waters of Cardigan Bay. The vast beach is never overcrowded and there is always plenty of room for a game of volleyball, rounders or sandcastle building.

Barmouth beach is a large family sandy beach and perfect for sunbathing, games and surfing. The beach is located on the north bank of the river Mawddach on the west coast of Wales, just within the south west corner of Snowdonia National Park.

A beach accessible wheelchair, available on a first come, first served basis from Boscombe beach office, between May and September, from 9:30am to 4:30pm (refundable £50 cash deposit required). Dogs From 1 May to 30 September, dogs are not allowed on Bournemouth beach and must be kept on a lead on the promenade, paths and zig zags at all times.
