2018年6月17日 · Probably none of them are wrong; some methods, some traps, some attractors just work better for one guy than they do for the next, and vice versa. That doesn't mean that one or both are wrong, just that they learned different methods to get the same desired results. The 2 MB 550 traps you mentioned are the favorite of many coyote & bobcat trappers.

2025年2月23日 · Time for my 2nd post. I updated y'all in early January about my 2nd-ever coyote catch. Well now I can officially cross "bobcat" of my trapping wish list. While I don't have huge trap lines like most of y'all (still just my 3 Duke 550 traps), I am chalking up my big game trapping season as a win in my book (1 coyote, 1 bobcat).

2025年3月10日 · I think I learned the most important steps are fleshing completely, degreasing completely, and thinning so the pickle and tanning agent can penetrate the leather. All the other step are necessary for sure but not as complicated. The Trubond was easy to use and worked great. I bought a half gallon and probably only use 1/2 cup on the bobcat.

2024年10月29日 · Cats have no problem with slightly tainted,but in my experience,best to start off with fresh. Cats will "claim" a carcass by feeding on it and covering what they cannot consume.They will come back and uncover the remains,feed again and cover anything left again.if it is warm and it gets too badly tainted they will not come back,but canines will.
