2010年1月31日 · Yea, I like blued guns. I have a blued Ruger 77 tang safety, a blued 45/22, a blued P90, and just bought a blued GP 100 6". I do also have a stainless Encore 308 and a blued Encore 44 mag pistol. All of all my other guns are blued. Frank I guess I am just an old timer that just grew up in a time when when most guns were blue.

2016年5月2日 · All the blued and nickel finish guns will be gone. Only stainless will be offered. The EPA laws is pushing the bluing and nickel process out of the manufacturing here. Smith & Wesson only offers one revolver in nickel, colt offers nothing. In the near future the blued and nickel guns will demand top dollar.

I called Ruger years ago, and they said they have no intentions to blue any more Red Hawks. So if you have the blued ones keep them! Ya prices suck. There not making any more of the older ones. The Trigger pull on my Blued GP that I have shot close to 200 rounds and maybe dry fired close to 2000 times feels tighter and heavier than my Brand New Stainless GP. 3. If your not careful you can get down to bare metal. The polishing process is intended for blued guns with very minor scratches and a coat of bluing that's not overly worn or thinned out.
