2013年11月4日 · Whether the cories are suitable to the biotope may depend on what species you choose. The same goes for the otos. Rams are from the Rio Orinoco as well and not suitable to an Amazon biotope. Assuming you want a true biotope, the aquascape will depend on the fish you select. In order to create a true biotope, I would choose a centerpiece species.

2020年4月3日 · Place your leaves in a fashion where it looks like it has been scattered, and a layer of leaves along the bottom of an aquarium. Leaf litter is optional though and is certainly not needed to create a biotope, many people prefer 'clean" biotopes with everything except botanicals. But it adds to the pizzaz and the "oohs" and "aahs".

2020年11月30日 · I really am intrigued by the lower Rio Orinoco River biotope. There is many species of fish which I like I am using my 40 breeder for this and will be keeping 4 Mesonatua Festivum 4 keyhole chiclid, 8 Marbled hatchetfish , 8 sterbai cory and 12 tetras from the Orinoco.

Fish: wild type guppies (yes from the islands, not the mainland) girardinus metallicus, and possibly limia nigrofasciata which would bring HaitI into the 'tope. Plants: Ceratopyllum Demersum
