Big Rock in San Diego County is an exposed reef break that has quite consistent surf and can work at any time of the year. Offshore winds are from the east. Groundswells are more common than windswells and the ideal swell angle is from the west. A left hand reef. Best around mid tide. Likely to be crowded if working. Take care of rocks and locals.
