I gambled and bought a cheap OHREX Chinese Trucker GPS off Amazon for $63, 2 years ago. So far it has been accurate and only routed me on roads for which I have entered my weight, length, height.

2023年4月30日 · The best RV navigation app is a dedicated RV GPS. Not even the RV Life app works well, even if planned and loaded from RV Trip Wizard. Seems to me paper maps would be better than Google Maps for driving with an RV. Everyone keeps trying apps and keep searching for that one perfect app but in all the ones I've tried my RV GPS is still the best.

2024年5月24日 · Rand McNally is out of the RV GPS business, but sell truckers GPS units for >$500. I bought a Chinese OHREX brand truckers GPS off Amazon for $60, it has performed flawlessly for the past 3 years. It has settings for semi's for length, width, height, and weight.

2023年4月29日 · One advantage to real GPS units is no cell signal needed. One place I like to camp, it's about 20 miles from cell service. Another advantage is no extra fees to pay for. Lifetime map updates. Google maps is great, but not the best with an RV.

2022年10月4日 · I can recommend 2 alternatives, one is CoPilot RV, I have used this for years, it is not perfect, no GPS device or app is, but it is full featured ad reliable. Another really good option I RVLIFEpro. This is a suite of apps that include a full featured trip planner, that can help you find campgrounds as well as select rv friendly routes.

2020年11月9日 · I do NOT recomend a Rand Mcnally GPS for RV navigation! I got a good deal on the RVT80 Android Tablet with GPS and dash cam plus a bunch of other useless apps. Well maybe the US maps app is useful sometimes but it is so out of date..... Anyway, RM has not updated the GPS maps in almost 2 years now whereas TomTom updates every quarter.
