Scan results show a 2.5 cm tumor, and he has scheduled me for a TURBT next Wednesday. I am prepared for a diagnosis of bladder cancer, but wonder whether it's at all reasonably possible that it is benign.

My question relates to the size of the tumor, as I understand that size has a relationship to risk for recurrence. The CT (completed 3 weeks before the turbt) said the tumor was 1.9 cm.

2010年9月20日 · Besides, if a tumor is removed during a regular cysto, is MMC or another chemo agent instilled after tumor removal? Isn't that routine after removal to prevent re-seeding? I know I had to stay flat and rotate for several hours to coat the bladder with the chemo and then it was irrigated out over several hours.

I have had NED report in the past when I was having every three month cystoscopy and immediate TURB if something was seen but then had a recurrence later.
