Ben Sax is the Immediate Past Chair of ADL's Board of Directors. In his 25 years of volunteering for ADL, Ben has served in various leadership positions, including Vice-Chair of the Board, National Chair of Development and New York Regional Board Chair.

Ben Sax serves as the Head of Scholarship and the Jewish Scholar at the Institute for Islamic, Christian, and Jewish Studies in Baltimore. Ben is an experienced professor, university administrator, scholar, award-winning teacher, public speaker, and practitioner and facilitator of interreligious dialogue.

Ben Sax is an arts scientist, patented inventor, creative director, and social entrepreneur who explores the relationships between community, technology, and place. He’s the founder of Perceptoscope, an interactive public arts initiative devoted to engaging people with the places around them through interactive sculpture and immersive public media.
