It now refers to Sunny, not Omori, and Basil describes him as "comfortable, humble" and, to me which is an absolute proof of a crush, "perfect". Fourthly; Omori doesn’t hate Basil. I think if Omori truly hated Basil, he wouldn’t bother putting Basil in headspace at all. Omori killing Basil is the representation of Sunny trying to silence any memories of the truth, due to Basil’s involvement in Mari’s death, his very presence is a trigger for Sunny’s memories.

2021年7月26日 · Omori is Sunny’s defence mechanism and therefore doesn’t want Sunny to be reminded of what happened on that day. Basil obviously has a connection to what happened on that day, so Omori makes his headspace friends gradually forget about Basil to prevent Sunny from finding out about the truth (and the trauma) that’s linked to Basil.

In contrast in the hikikomori route Omori reaches the church to find a colorful Dream Basil. Omori weaves a romantic tale of himself/Sunny finally saving Basil.

2022年11月17日 · Take that Basil was also trying to kill himself, so leaving aside the rpg mechanics, in a realistic scenario he could've also self-inflicted some of those wounds. And while the game tells us that “Basil attacks Sunny” and “Sunny attacks Basil”, remember that the rpg mechanics aren’t a real part of the world, as seen in previous scenarios.

basil is one of my favourite characters, he is definitely the most morally grey of them all. I love how he cherishes his friends and memories and tries to see them positively even tho that went way out of control lmao I also kind of relate to his abandonment issues but I feel its more like what aubrey feels idk
