Born from the rapid cooling of basaltic lava on the Earth’s surface, this robust volcanic rock boasts a fine-grained texture and nuanced color palette ranging from deep black to grey. Basaltina Basalt is stocked in 24” x 24” honed and filled tile.

Italian Basaltina is quarried from a bedrock quarry in Italy. Basalt has natural occurring holes which are filled with colored cement during the processing of the slabs.
