I want a bank with easy mobile banking like huntington, direct deposit options, and ability to obtain a credit card ASAP to begin building my credit. Im inexperienced, scared, and want to start out on the absolute best foot possible to reduce any issues i may have down the line. absolutely any advice is greatly appreciated.

Banking apps should work the same as on any other Android phone, except that with LineageOS you have the latest security updates (if you update regularly). While some banks prohibit using their apps when having a custom rom (or root), others don't care.

2021年7月7日 · Yeah, I was under the impression that the WLB balance was ONLY bad in investment banking. But it sounds like the awfully long hours even rollover to PE and Hedge funds. Is there any finance role one could exit to after IB that could pay around 200k-300k, without having to work 60-80 hrs per week?

2021年2月23日 · Don’t need a degree to be in banking. Making $60k is doable at branch level but that would depend on the bank you work at. Also $60k may not be your base pay but your base and bonus/incentive pay together. If you want a long career in banking, which it doesn’t sound like you do, then a degree might be helpful along the way.

In general, IB seems to be something that people do in their 20s when they have energy and then they move on to something else (i.e. private equity other areas of banking). 20s is when you have time to take risks and throw your self at something, whether it be a startup or a Ph.D. or IB or consulting or whatever.

2023年1月6日 · Slow customer service response, they keep sending me emails saying they partnered with PayPal, Venmo, Stripe ,Cash App etc.. but even signing up for all of those as a Business Banking account they don't offer the following.

I was with USAA for banking since 2013, but was considering switching banks in mid-2023. There's nothing *wrong* with USAA's banking platform - solid bank, but not much in incentives to stay there. Interest rate sucks (like it does with most brick & mortars), no great features, etc. I checked Ally and then heard about SoFi.
