2022年7月3日 · The third ending (the fantasy one) could be interpreted as a parallel to bakudeku and in a romantic way. Horikoshi has shown to us a few LGBTQ+ characters, so it might be possible to get more in the future.

I won’t deny the fact that some of the shippers in this community have threatened and bullied people (Including the Creator) to make sure Bakudeku reigns supreme, however to just assume that 100% of all of the people in our community is the same is upright ignorance.

2022年7月29日 · 48% of Bakudeku fans think that the romance (whatever romance will happen) will happen with only hinted panels, nothing romantic. A 22% of Bakudeku fans think there will be no romance at the end of BNHA. Bakudeku fans also voted (mean) 6,08 on how important it is that their ship will become canon (1=not important, 10= extremely important).

These two may be able to work together at UA, but other than that, they just aren't compatible together. I get that BakuDeku shippers don't ship them because they're toxic (that would be stupid, right?), but it just makes no sense to people who don't ship it. And, it's not like you can dissuade someone once their mind is set on hating something.

2021年3月27日 · BakuDeku was one of my first ever ships, it was my first and comfort ship! It was a thing that motivated me to do better! It’s was a ship that motivates me to be more like Deku, Determined, Selfless, and Kind! Or maybe on a different day; Bakugo, Tuff as nails, Smart, and Heroic! These two together just motivated me!

BakuDeku can get pretty dicey due to the abuse aspect. On the other hand it has a lot of built in dynamic for writing, you automatically have a great way to push for character development- Bakugo realizing he's an abuser, Deku coming to terms with Bakugo's abuse and growing a spine and then growing together.
