I'm a big fan of powder coating. I feel it is the closet finish to the original factory application, but without the original runs and dried drips. It can be applied as gloss, semi-gloss, or a flat finish. It covers very evenly, and in my opinion has less preparation than a wet spray application.

2023年11月7日 · Helping a friend get an A50 Wasp back on the road. Normally I am fan of reusing pistons and coating pistons, but in this case the pistons/bore are not appropriate to reuse. It is a standard bore at present and should clean up with 0.020 to 0.040" over.
