2021年3月24日 · Offered for sale is this near-pristine BMW R1200 ST with very low (21k) miles. What makes it rare is that this model was only sold in the US for three model years (2005 - 2007) and they never sold very well. Not likely you've seen another on the road. What's even more unusual is that this particular bike is a non-ABS.

As some might remember, it wasn't that long ago that I did my initial review of the R12RT after having taken a test ride on a the then new '05 model.

2016年7月28日 · Well, turns out the primary seal for the tank to filler neck, a little gasket, is not sold as a replaceable part. You need to buy the whole $580 filler and cap assembly. Insane. Even BMW told me to take it off and go to NAPA and see what they can do to match it.

2003年3月1日 · That is no longer the case. BMW motorcycles have become like BMW cars; expensive but disposable, with a short service life. In the past a BMW owner could always get OEM parts from a Dealer or junkyard, without much regard for how old the bike was, and self-repair. Now on the BMW forums I’m seeing the same thing that happened to BMW cars.

2003年4月2日 · I have receipt from BMW dealer in Woodlands TX that performed all the needed services in Sept. 2021 at around 18900 miles: Around 19,500 miles currently on bike. Valve clearance adjustment, new air filter, new spark plugs, both tires replaced, front and back brakes flushed. Picture of gas tank shows only real blemish on the bike.

2021年4月10日 · 2012 bmw k 1600 gtl This recall is directly related to 2013 recall number 13V-617 that detailed how excessive loads on the fuel pump flange could cause the plastic to crack and lead to a fuel leak. At the time, the fix involved the installation of a reinforcing ring, provided the cracks were minor enough not to prompt a replacement of the pump.
