2021年11月25日 · I have a similar chirping/ringing/whirring noise coming from near the PCV area. The car has now done 50,000KM and it is a 2011 n55 335i model. I performed a quick test as described for the water test. There wasn't any bubbles at low revs, however, when I hit the throttle, I can see the water being sucked in/out. Can this also be a dead PCV issue?

2021年5月19日 · Assuming the N55 VVT motor is powered the same way, it's probably worth a quick look (which I assume it is, since it's way more current than you want running through the DME). I think the N55 VVT motor does actually have the position sensor - except it's built into the motor itself, instead of being on the eccentric shaft like the N52.

2021年7月12日 · F30 n55 issues are minimalized to basically just the ofhg. Also the EWG n55's make better power and have superior boost control as opposed to the pwg ones, aka 2013 n55's and prior. You'll find it way easier to make power. And on a semi related note, early f30's still use the CIC from the e9x era, as opposed to NBT or NBT Evo later on.
