M340 longevity? : r/BMW - Reddit
Just like any BMW, I would expect them to get pricey as you pass 100k miles. They have enormously complicated cooling systems that will become a problem. The oil filter housing job is becoming common on the b48/b58 cars at this point, and that alone is $3k. The typical budgetary cautions of BMW ownership still apply
Thoughts on the BMW M340i? : r/BMW - Reddit
2022年3月9日 · M340 is the best overall BMW for the price and power. The B58TU engine is rock solid and can be tuned up to 500whp on stock turbo with just a down pipe, exhaust, & tune. On top of that, it looks amazing and will age very well.

which year m340i should i get : r/BMW - Reddit
2023年8月10日 · I prefer the I drive 8 system better, the bmw app works more consistently than with my 3 series with ideive7. Also the car remembers things like my preferred drive mode, which in the 330i, I always had to select sport mode, or ensure that stupid start stop function was off.
M340i review : r/cars - Reddit
2023年2月18日 · It’s about the way it drives not the speed. It’s more than quick enough. The steering is artificially heavy and numb, it lacks character and engagment, and isn’t as fun and playful as some other sports sedans like the CT4V and Giulia. BMW lost its “ultimate driving machine” title many years ago.
Is the M340i really worth it as a daily driver? : r/BMW - Reddit
I once got an m340 as a loaner car for two weeks or so (7 series n63 issues). I’m not shitting you when I say the m340 might be the best “daily driver” type car that I’ve ever had the pleasure of living with even for a very short time. To me it’s the PERFECT combination of so many things. Luxurious and comfortable. Fast as shit for a ...
Is the 540i a better deal than the M340i? : r/BMW - Reddit
2022年12月12日 · But BMW want you to suffer just a little bit in the non-luxury models. I’ve looked at upper models like the M550i, or even M5, but all that extra power starts to get silly. I’d never get to put all that down on public roads. M340i you can really get to sing on the freeway. A non-M BMW sedan, however, I don’t think I would ever consider.
M240i or M340i? : r/BMW - Reddit
2023年2月18日 · Oh yeah my N55 was $300/month but my N63 is $400/month, the higher the displacement, power output, etc. still matters because a lot of parts are more expensive the higher the trim level, and the higher the trim level = higher power = higher chance of going zoomie zoom = higher liability so it's the same in the US pretty much, but to answer your ...
Should I go for M340i or 330i? : r/BMW - Reddit
The 330i doesn’t really compare, a 330 isn’t a performance car. The m340 has what may be the best balance of performance, reliability and price that BMW will ever offer in a gas engine. That with the tuning potential and aftermarket support you won’t be disappointed. Plus the B58 will hold its value better than a B48
M Adaptive Suspension worth it? : r/BMW - Reddit
2022年9月22日 · They aren’t air suspensions keep that in mind, although, they are more smooth on bumps. Comparing my M240 which has adaptive suspensions and my M340 which doesn’t, it’s a lot softer with the M240 and for $600 it’s well worth it imo!
