2021年1月19日 · In the F36, only the rear portion of the headliner has to be lowered enough to free the ATM/TCB. Rear door seals need to be partially pulled off and ceiling coat hooks have to be removed, also some nearby snap-in plastic trim pieces, and a couple screws, not bad. The module has a release button on it and the cables have to be unplugged/unscrewed.

2025年1月26日 · BMW dealership advised possibly FEM or 3 other modules but also that without replacing FEM would be unlikely to know if it was something else. Independent mechanic was confident it was the FEM, he could clear the codes but couldn't reprogram a new FEM. So - a new FEM was purchased (from BMW) and programmed (by BMW).
