2021年2月26日 · Hoping someone can help me, apologies if this is a daft question. I have just recently picked up a f32 4 series and it has the ambient lighting. The last few nights with the darker nights it has been on. The lighting around the radio and heating controls seems to warm up quite a lot and is warm to touch around that area and the area below.

Long story short, without significant wiring and software updates there is no way to get multi-colour ambient lighting in our cars. 2015年4月24日 · Keep in mind, that brightness of ambient lighting is dependent on "combined levels" of TWO separate controls. The first one is under "Lighting" setting in iDrive, I have the ambient lighting set to max in there. The second one is the instrument cluster intensity knob (right next to the headlight knob). I have this set to around 80% of the way.

2023年2月2日 · I picked it up the day before yesterday and thats when I noticed no interior ambient lighting. I went to reset my i-Drive yesterday morning after my car sat in my garage over night and the weird door behavior returned. I decided to have it towed to the shop so they could catch it in this state and also access the inside of the door right away.

2024年11月3日 · I have a 2020 X5 G05 - X40i and have recently experienced an issue with my ambient lighting, where dashboard and panoramic sky lounge ambient lights no longer work. The issue seems to occur after driving in rain. It corrects itself after a few days. I've opened the moon roof and the track appears to be dry.

2022年8月4日 · BMW probably has a totally separate door panel for the cars with ambient lighting with brackets, wiring clips, etc. I’m sure you’re right though. There’s probably just a blank connector plug somewhere for the ambient lighting that’s just not being used in your car and it would be easy to update the iDrive software.
