When the 330e hit the market, the tax credit in the US was written totally different and the 330e qualified for I think $4500 of the max $7500 credit; BMW (Mercedes, Audi, etc.) no longer qualify for the credit.

2016年3月15日 · In NL the BMW 330e has a tax advantage for company cars which make the car attractive. But, I agree that the car is not very economical if you would add the cost of the charging stations into the overall cost. In that case a diesel is performing better. My colleague drives a BMW 320 ede which uses 4.2 l/100km (56MPG).

2022年1月28日 · In the 330e, the auxiliary battery powers the starter. In the F30, the 12V primary battery and the auxiliary are isolated from the drive battery, so they don't charge when the car is plugged in. That's apparently changed in the G-series PHEVs.

2017年10月6日 · BMW engineering just massaged the tuning to get the performance the marketing department wanted for each vehicle. 330e, 530e, 740e all seem to share the exact same drivetrain: B48 2.0 L 4 cylinder engine coupled to a 184 ft-lbs motor embedded in a ZF 8 speed transmission.

2021年3月26日 · What stops me from buying a 330e is the lack of a spare tire and the relatively short range on the highway (due to the 330e's 10.6 gallon tank vs. the 330i's 15.6 gallon tank). My recent 330i loaner got 40 MPG at 77 MPH on the interstate. That works out to a real-world highway range of well over 500 miles.

2018年2月11日 · That was a plus for the 330e. I also looked at the Tesla 3 and S Model, but their limited service network and the range anxiety put those on the shelf for the next few years anyways. Another plus for the BMW. Additionally, I think the 330e has so much more class than the Model 3, or the Audi e-Tron I drove.

2022年2月2日 · I have a 2017 bmw 330e approx 95k miles which judders after around 20-30min drive when the car is warm, in 6th gear around 1500-2200rpm around 40-50mph. Transmission fluid, gearbox filter , seals been changed and still happening, also no fault codes or warning lights.

2020年11月24日 · After taking my 2017 330e to my local independent BMW garage because of driver’s door window control fault (i.e. it’s stopped working) they have suggested replacing the the auxiliary battery. The crossover between EVand ICE seems fine but maybe it could be smoother.
