High Value Target is a default commander resource featured in Battlefield 4. It reveals the location of an enemy to the entire team for 45 seconds, becoming available once that enemy has reached a six or more kill streak.

It would be good if a member of your team was designated a HVT, your commander could issue a "defend the HVT" counter order, and players completing actions such as captures and kills near the HVT would get bonus points as well.

The addition of the HVT (high value target) system in BF4 adds an exciting new dynamic to the battlefield. Commanders now have the ability to designate a player on the opposing team as an HVT.

2014年1月11日 · HVT - High Value Target. O nce you reach a 6 killstreak, you will be marked as a High Value Target for the enemy team, and who ever killed that person received extra points. If your game has a commander, he could mark someone as a HVT as well (Usually Mobile Anti Air, Battle Tank, or Air Crafts).

2013年8月31日 · Maybe HVT should be directed more towards vehicle users as the effect on the battlefield by eliminating 1 person who can respawn in 10 secs is much smaller than taking out a jet or helicopter which has to respawn in 1-2 mins.

2013年11月4日 · When playing in online, occasionally I hear over ther speakers that a new HVT has been established (or some version of that statement). Here are my presumptions: HVT = High Value Target, assigned by our commander, & I will earn more XP if I find and kill the HVT. Is this correct? If so, do they show up on my radar & how much extra XP do you earn?
