MLW M-420 - Wikipedia
The MLW M-420 was a diesel-electric locomotive manufactured between 1973 and 1977 in Montreal, Canada by the Montreal Locomotive Works. A total of 90 units were built for Canadian railways, including eight B units built for the British Columbia Railway; most of production went to Canadian National. [2]

Sticking with the RS-18 model for another Monday, we see a British Columbia Railway version for "MLW Monday", with BCOL #622 showing off it's pristine look. The Pacific Great Eastern Railway purchased 29 of the RS-18 units, with the first 8 units built with high noses, while the remainder was factory delivered with a low nose.

BCOL 644 Sept 1985 at Onward, BC. We were in "work service" cleaning up some junk along the right of way after a large MoW project, ties, ballast and rail replacement. 644 looking a little tattered and worn.
