They say on their site they are a combination of 2 wound D’Addario silver plated copper wound strings with Denier Nylon cores, and 2 Worth Brown strings and they are even kind enough to include the gauge of the strings.

With his fabulous cedar ebony Pono that love was well founded. I kept at him about spruce being very nice if built properly and now that he has this one he is a believer.

Like you I mostly enjoyed it and got a lot out of it. There are no perfect groups or leaders either. There will always be some grumbling. Our Uke group here in Pensacola generally gets along.

2009年7月4日 · So, I thought it was time to upgrade and I purchased the OU6. I noticed a signifcant improvement in craftmanship once I opened the box. But, as I went through chords, riffs, plucking and strumming I noticed a signifcant loss in volume compared to the Lanikai which is less expensive. I was hoping this would be my new "go to" uke but am disappointed.

2012年3月1日 · In the end I went to the toolbox and decided to simply do the job normally. The countersinks needed are not deep so will not affect switching to different tuners in future, if required. It's been a fun exercise tinkering with alternatives but for this uke doing it "the old-fashioned way" has worked perfectly. And they really are such excellent ...
