2008年5月14日 · the b-1r can supposedly go 2.2 Mach while the preposed "2035 bomber" is capable of going hyper sonic. The b-1r can only climb to roughly 50,000 feet while the "2035 bomber" is a semi orbital strike platform. So which would you choose to own and operate? I'd rather have larger numbers of the B-1R and rely on other systems for PGS missions.

2008年10月17日 · I know there were at least two others threads relating to the B-1R program, my understanding is that it exists only on paper, and nothing more. I never followed up on it though, so that information may not be true. I'd check those threads for information.

2007年4月10日 · The B-1R will change that. Would of changed that. From the information links that Bios provided plus the reading and posts that I've done I think the card are stacked againest the possiblity of a B-1R. It was a neat thought but if the USAF wants to fufill a new bomber mission it makes alot of sence to create a new airframe to fill the role.
