AVTOVAZ Joint Stock Company, or OAO AVTOVAZ (Avtovaz), manufactures nearly three-quarters of the light automobiles sold in Russia, producing around 700,000 cars a year.

In the longer term, at the turn of 2025 – 2026, AvtoVAZ will begin production of a completely new model – a crossover on the Vesta platform. The new product will receive a combination of a 1.8 Evo engine with a capacity of 122 horsepower and a Chinese six-speed manual transmission.
