2023年6月13日 · Unfortunately, like many games, AVOWED will have an incomplete launch. I think it will be good, but its greatest potential will only come after many patches and some dlcs. Keep expectations neutral and pray that the best happens and that we are surprised.

2024年6月10日 · There is not a single thing I saw during this latest deep dive that made me feel like avowed is a side project. In fact I feel the opposite. The fact they added 3rd person and showed off how much better the combat looks/feels was a huge jump in quality compared to anything else they’ve showed.

While I don't think it'll necessarily work the same in Avowed, I do see it having some level of impact. Unique dialogue options, like we see in the Direct, as well as starting bonuses to Avowed-related game statistics (H unter, for example, might grant a starting +15 to archery skills, or survival skills, if that's how it works ).

I did notice the typeface match, as well as the iconography shown on certain dialogue choices. How the lootable enemies glow is also reminiscent of PoE, and of course the skills are familiar, too. It’s little details like this that make Avowed feel connected to what’s come before, and hopefully what’s still to come in this setting.
