2023年10月15日 · Fwiw, APR is doing at home flashes towards the end of the year and early next year for all models. Other tuners are basically forcing them to follow Suite. Fwiw, all stage 1 tunes are roughly the same.

2023年2月4日 · Was tuned Apr stage 1 for about a year then had this message pop up. Took it to Audi just to be told I need a new transmission, was quoted $16,000. Luckily my warranty covered it but the transmission took 4 months to get delivered from Germany, just got it back last week.

2022年7月23日 · Yes and after. Its only when coming to a stop and also going from reverse to drive. It needs a clutch adaptation. I just got my VCDS cable in so that I can do it. The tune didnt fix the jerking. I was hoping it would. I took it to audi for regular service. They drove it and said I just needed the adaptation.

2024年3月7日 · The APR tune kind of sucks as they were too lazy to even create a TCU tune so you can't access the full torque gain anyway. I used APR ECU/TCU on my Golf R and that was fine though. Dunno if 034 has SQ8 tune, but I think IE and unitronic both do and I'd use both of those over APR personally.

2021年3月7日 · Hey Audi Gang, I bought a b8.5 s4 4 months ago and I think it’s time to get it tuned. I’ve been doing cursory research and I’m interested in APR’s Stage 1 ECU tune. I’m a novice with these types of things, so I was wondering what types of risks there are with a tune.

There is a new genuine Audi piston style DV that's plug 'n play on the 2.0T's. It's from the new Audi 4.0T platforms. It's a bit north of $130. Here you go. There's also always the Forge DV kit, but I'm not sure it's worth nearly double the price of the Audi piston DV, and nearly 4 times the price of the G revision diaphragm DV.

2023年4月26日 · I have a 2015 SQ5, IE dual pulley Statge 2 93 tune, paired with the TCU tune (7,200 redline), down-pipes, exhaust and intake, IE says 453 hp and 469 torque to the wheels with my 3.0L. It seems those numbers would be accurate from APR. I'm surprised they would tune just the engine. Get that TCU tune, bud!

2021年11月3日 · I have the same generation A6 with the Supercharged 3.0 and APR stage 1. I had the same questions but it has honestly been incredibly easy, no extra maintenance (unless you count brakes and tires you might go through faster if you’re driving it faster all the time I guess) it’s a really great product, 100% worth the money and I think the price has even dropped since I had mine- I paid $1100

2021年10月25日 · About to relocate so I’m taking advantage of having my local Audi and APR guys do some extra performance on my car. Going to be doing dual pulley and have read all about the heat soaking issues. Obviously they recommended the APR heat exchanger but want to hear other opinions on some other brands. I saw ECS has their own now too for.

APR also does a lot of track cars so they know how to make reliable power. Seen many cars with washed out rings and blown turbos from overly rich mixtures, too much boost, aggressive timing, etc Reply reply
