A white icon with a blue feather indicates that the component is lightweight and hidden. A white icon with a red feather indicates that the component is hidden, out-of-date, and lightweight. A lightening bolt overlay appears on the icon of Smart Components.

What is that "Blue Box" in assembly navigator ? It is inside a part so it shouldn't be a assembly at all. Can I remove it ?

2013年6月9日 · Just create a substitute LOD from within an assembly and you'll get a blue part/assembly icon. Sorry JD if I've spoilt your fun, but someone had to answer this 🙂 Peter

2023年9月25日 · What is the meaning of this icon - an M encircled by a sun in blue? I see it in the FeatureManager tree next to part and assembly icons. Sometimes, it is not present for parts or assemblies. It may be there even if the part is not fully defined (constrained by mates). I have the "personal" edition of SolidWorks. Thank you!
