She went out of focus for a long time. Now, she's returning and her voice actress Nika Futterman is reprising her voice role as Asajj Ventress.

Except both times Ventress and Savage fought, Ventress lost. Savage was able to disarm and force choke out both Ventress and Dooku, to the point where they both had to flee. Then proceeded to force repulse about 20 droids that had him completely surrounded.

Ventress is able to hold her own against Anakin and Obi multiple times in the series, and she held her own against Dooku twice and almost killed him when she tried to assassinate him on Serenno. Ventress is able to disarm Grievous, but is unable to take on Maul and Savage. She later dies to Dooku I think because she was distracted, I can't recall.

I can totally understand why! Over the summer when we were filming our Ventress short, I actually shaved my head because bald caps are SO hard to work with. On top of that, the makeup is really hard to get right. This look takes about 3 hrs start to finish. It’s definitely my most involved costume, but I’m really happy with it!

Even in the movie, Obi-Wan was shown to beat her without really taking her seriously. I think in Star Wars, generally, 2v1s tilt in the favor of the single combatant. There's more to think about and focus on when you're having to worry and work around a teammate. Ventress is never shown to be as good as Anakin or Obi-Wan in one on one situations.

Ventress was very skilled, but because of the Jedi’s negative opinion of Nightsisters, and the Jedi’s unbending rule that all Padawans had to be children, (they barely let Anakin in) she only showed her desperation for a place to belong and joined the light side near the end of the story. But Ventress had been a Jedi.

Apr 3, 2022 · Yeah, Palpatine could wipe the floor with Asajj, but their relationship is one about control and domination, not about fighting ability. Same deal with her fights between Anakin and Obi-Wan. There the narrative is much more about the Jedi's arrogance to their own weaknesses and to serve as a metaphor for the rising power of the Sith.
