2021年9月29日 · Hi, the HP ProCurve 2920 (now called Aruba 2920) with HP ProVision WB.16.03.0004 (April 2017) could be upgraded to latest ArubaOS-Switch version WB.16.10.0016, both the source and destination versions use the same BootROM version (WB.16.03) so you should expect just a single reboot during the entire upgrade procedure (WB.16.03.0004->WB.16.10.0016).

So we recently received our first Aruba 2920 switches because we were told that the MAS 2500/3500 switches are going end-of-sale. Anyways, I am trying to figure out what OS/software/firmware I should be flashing these with to get the current? They shipped with the apparent software version WB.15.15.0012. Am I supposed to put ArubaOS on them?

2021年11月15日 · Hi Thomas, apart from using a quite old ArubaOS-Switch software version (WB.16.03.005) both Serial Numbers of the J9150A SFP+ Transceivers installed on the Aruba 2920 Stack H0 (the RPDHXPS1444 and the RPDHXPS1440) look strange at first sight, also related 4x4 number (1990-3878) - are those two SFP+ Transceivers old? - doesn't seem to be listed as 4x4 numbers currently supported by Aruba 2920 ...

I am trying it from Web GUI and couldn't find any how to do steps online. Appreciate if some one could post the steps here. Note: Two HP 2920-48G Switch (J9728A) switches are in stack. Cheers!

Can I upgrade the Switches straightaway with the new Version, or must I load intermediate Versions beforehand? Many thanks

Something like: interface A1-B1 lacp active. should be sufficient on the fourth Arbuba 2920's end. That's creating A1+B1 Trk1 on your fourth Switch Aruba 2920 to connect via two DAC Cables to 1/A2+2/A2 Trk2 created on the Aruba 2920 Stack (Stack members: Switch 1 and Switch 2).
