Aroor is a fishing village on the northernmost part of the Alappuzha district, within Cherthala taluk of Kerala, India. It lies on either sides of National Highway 66 and serves as a gateway between Kochi and Alappuzha. Aroor, surrounded by Vembanad, Kaithappuzha, and Kumbalangi backwaters, is known for its seafood export industry. [1]

Aroor State assembly constituency is one of the 140 state legislative assembly constituencies in Kerala state in southern India. It is also one of the 7 state legislative assembly constituencies included in the Alappuzha Lok Sabha constituency. [1] As of the 2021 assembly elections, the current MLA is Daleema Jojo of CPI(M).

2021年5月8日 · Aroor is a small village in Udupi district of Karnataka. It is 16 km from Udupi town and 6 km from Brahmavara. With nearly 750 families residing, the population is 3,600.
