Arisdorf ist ein knapp zwei Kilometer langes Strassendorf. Ursprünglich bestand es aus den Teilen Unter-, Mittel- und Oberdorf (Kreuz oder Chrüz). Heute sind diese Teile zusammengewachsen. Nördlich der Kirche, die nach wie vor das Dorfbild dominiert, und östlich des Unterdorfs hat sich seit 1970 ein zusammenhängendes Einfamilienhausgebiet gebildet.
