dwl is a compact, hackable compositor for Wayland based on wlroots. It is intended to fill the same space in the Wayland world that dwm does in X11, primarily in terms of philosophy, and secondarily in terms of functionality.

wlroots是sway的基础组件，很多其它的wayland合成器比如 wayfire 、 dwl 、 gamescope 等都是基于wlroots开发的。而wlroots-0.15.0本身是支持vulkan的，所以等一众基于其开发的waylandwm更新支持wlroots-0.15.0后，也就自然支持vulkan了。

I have seen some videos and online tutorials most of which are about a year old, and versions back then "seem" to work but it appears not recent releases.
