VR-TAK is the latest tool in the Tactical Assault Kit (TAK) family and is compatible with the TAK ecosystem, using the same consistent TAK look and feel for seamless integration. Soldiers and Mission Planners experience VR-TAK via the immersive, intuitive virtual interface of VR controllers and a headset.

TAK was an innovative shift from cumbersome radio communication, paper maps, and signal mirrors. TAK has multiple versions, including ATAK for Android mobile devices, WinTAK for Windows, and iTAK for Apple iPhone, all of which let operators share resources and navigate using GPS and accurate map data.
