But it is important to note that there are multiple conflicting traditions about how some apostles died. So, which tradition is correct? For example, tradition claims that Peter died in A.D. 64-68 during Nero’s persecution of the Christians , and that he was crucified upside down on a cross (John 21:18-19).

The following summarizes what we do know about the relationships of the apostles from the New Testament. – Book of Acts. In Acts 1:13-14 we are told that after Jesus ascended back to heaven the eleven apostles that remained after Judas died were together in the Upper Room.

The second reason is why would every apostle die for a lie? The New Testament does not tell us how the twelve apostles died. But this does not agree with the opinion of many early church fathers.

Notice that in each case the Spirit came “upon” them. He did not dwell inside them. He did not always remain with them.

First it is important to understand that all of the apostles died a physical death and their physical bones and flesh decayed in the grave and became dust.
