Jun 4, 2019 · People who have success with DE against aphids probably have ants farming the aphids - DE is pretty effective at reducing ants because they crawl over soil. Remove the ants, predators can go to work. Really your best bet is spraying them of with a blast from the hose or hand smushing, or an insecticidal soap if you want to spray.

Aphids are hard to eradicate, especially with all of the home remedies like ISO, dish soap, or essential oils. The most effective product I've used is Organishield, which is essentially a chemical derived from tobacco and other plants that kills all soft bodied bugs, without killing beneficial ones.
