The Aperio AH30 Gen5 1-to-16 hub is used for communication between the Aperio wireless components and the access control system. The communication takes place encrypted and in real-time. With the RS485 hub, a total of 16 online components can be activated, meaning that 16 doors can be managed and controlled.

The AH30-3-0 Communication Hub is the link between Aperio locks and the existing access control system. Up to 64 locks can be paired to one Hub and has a standard RS485 connection, making it compatible with most systems on the market today.

The Aperio AH30 Gen 1-4 Hub can be connected to an LNL-4420, LNL-3300, LNL-2220, LNL-2210, LNL-X series, or LNL-M series access controller to communicate with Aperio wireless locks. The Aperio Hub Gen 1-4 supports up to eight (8) wireless locks.

Prior to being able to use an Aperio AH30 Version (v) 5 with a Mercury LP (Series 3) controller, you must first upgrade the controller to Firmware v 1.31.x. Once upgraded to v 1.31.x you will then be able to upgrade to v 2.x firmware that will be needed to be able to communicate with the AH30v5 devices.
