Located a mile and a half outside of Stratford-upon-Avon in Shottery, Anne Hathaway’s Cottage is a thatched house nestled in an idyllic cottage garden. The building was the childhood home of William Shakespeare’s wife, Anne Hathaway.

The garden of Anne Hathaway’s Cottage showcases some of our contemporary sculpture collection, and the displays in the house tell the story of the Hathaway family and Anne’s courtship of William Shakespeare.
