Meet Alex, a visual artist born & raised in NYC! Alex’s work mixes the physical with the digital and explores the use of images from social media as source material (a personal favorite is arthur.jpg). We caught up with Alex ahead of her upcoming show as part of a group exhibition at Ki Smith Gallery in the East Village.

Alex Leav (b. 1997) is a painter living and working in Brooklyn, New York. She received a B.A. from the University of Michigan in 2019 and an M.F.A. from the School of Visual Arts in 2022. Recent solo exhibitions have taken place at Grove, London and Ki Smith Gallery, New York.
