Surah Masad (Arabic text: ٱلمَسَد) is the 111th Surah of the Qur’an. It is titled in English “The Palm Fiber” and composed of 5 verses... “His wealth will not avail him or that which he gained.” Meaning: Abu Lahab was one the the Prophet’s richest uncles and one of Qurayshi leaders. Still his wealth and status would not aid him on that day.

Surah Al-Lahab, the 111th surah of the Quran, addresses the arrogant and defiant behavior of Abu Lahab, an uncle of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), and his wife. It serves as a warning to those who oppose and harm the Prophet and his mission.

As Abu Lahab was a vehement enemy of the Holy Messenger ﷺ ، his wife too was supportive of her husband in his disbelief, rejection, obstinacy, and in persecuting the Holy Prophet ﷺ . She was a sister of Abu Sufyan, and daughter of Harb Ibn 'Umayyah.
