2020年2月12日 · The Open X is closer to the Open v1 than the Aeon v2 prototype I heard. The v2 does better to split the difference between the Open v1 and Closed v1 without having any of the issues from either. The Aeon Open X is still a lush-sounding headphone, but with speed and attack to offer inner resolution you can concentrate on if desired.

2022年3月5日 · However, the X and 2C are very different, and it depends on what you're looking for. The LCDX is more "reference" as mentioned in the above posts, and very technically adept. The only thing that kinda annoys me is that it's very sensitive (low impedance), so some of my amps don't play that nicely with the X.

2018年12月6日 · OG Aeon overall: Working with the Aeon over time, I was happy when I applied 2 notch filter+ Sonarworks profile correction @40% ish + the ZDT Jr. as the amp. Even with Aeon low impedance it was a decent match with the ZDT jr as impedance is flat, gave a little bloom to the bass, mellowed the highs and added a bit of soundstage.

2018年3月13日 · Both Aeon Flow 2 models have the collapsible hinges that make it go from a full sized to being very portable. I'm surprised at how much smaller the case that these headphones came in compared to the original. It is easily half the size of the Aeon Flow Open case and can be tossed in your back pack's small pocket.

2017年10月14日 · By comparison, the Aeon Open has a more relaxed presentation around 3-5, which I tend to prefer. The HD650 definitely has less sparkle than the Aeon Open in the upper treble though. When considering the mid-bass balance and slightly recessed upper midrnage of the Aeon Open, I would consider it overall slightly darker than the HD650.

2015年11月9日 · Thanks for the info. If in fact it is the Aeon 2 Closed with the Aeon 2 Open pads, I wonder why the jump in price. The only Harman Curve headphones I ever heard were the NAD HP50's which I found a bit dark. It did have that slight mid scoop mentioned that seems to open up the soundstage. It is more or less a loudness contour.
