If I've got the extra $10k, I'd go with the TSX. I test drove a TSX before I purchased a Civic EX. TSX very nice and roomy, leather heated seats, automatic climate control, blue tooth, heated windows...about the same power and gas mileage as a Civic Si (Si has slightly better gas mileage, TSX has slightly better horsepower, it's a trade off).

TOP GEAR the UK edition tested all three of these cars together and the 02-05 SI walked all over both the 06+ SI and 02-06 RSX, stating that the 02-05 SI was not only more fun to drive, but it was better on gas, feels faster, handles better, brakes better, and the interior felt more expensive..

Well after over a year of Si ownership, I finally got around to driving the CSX Type S - one with gorgeous taffeta white paint (though less lustrous than the TSX's metallic white). Driving this thing instantly reminded me of what my stock Si had driven like - which is stunningly different than how mine drives today.

Decided on Si because ride was very similar to s-type particularly at lower revs; most importantly, bargained with Honda dealer for 17,800 on Si (with window tinting floor mats and mudflaps) Accura would not budge from 20400. So price was a major issue. After three weeks in Si I do notice a couple of things re: the ride.

The "new" Focus doesn't come in SVT form anymore, so you can't really get an Si competitor. I can't wait to go to the SF Auto Show (which really isn't very special) to sit in the cars I might buy someday. Last time I was turned off by the 3 on the inside and felt very good in the Si, but in real life the Si turned out to be a bit boring to drive.

The most unfortunate thing about the Honda Si is the Acura RSX. Honda wants to make sure that the RSX Type-S is a better performer than the Civic in the American Market, as a result the Civic only gets the RSX base engine and a 5 speed manual.

Ive got a 2007 honda civic Si and just got an oil change from the dealership. Well they accidently put mobile 1 5w 20 and a engine treatment additive. I noticed it right away on the receit before i drove it and was like you put the wrong oil in the engine, and the manual also says to not put additives in it! so i made them redo the oil change.
