Abu Salim (born 11 May 1956) is an Indian film actor, bodybuilder, and retired police officer, who works predominantly in the Malayalam cinema. He has also acted in a few Telugu , Tamil and Hindi films.

Born on May 11, 1956, in Kalpetta, Wayanad district, he was the second son among six children of Kunhammed and Fathima.

In 1992, he supplied weapons to the famous Bollywood actor, Sanjay Dutt. Abu Salem played an active role in the 1993 Mumbai Serial Bomb Blasts in which over 250 people were killed and more than 700 were injured. In 1993, he left India and moved to Dubai and started a business establishment there called “Kings of Car Trading.”
