2023年5月4日 · Personally, I'm fine with the idea of an Aasimar that can just fly consistently. They're kind of meant as the celestial answer to tieflings, and there's a Tiefling subrace that sacrifices all of the race's built-in magic powers in exchange for wings. I feel like you could do the same thing for Aasimar.

2020年2月22日 · The protector aasimar subrace: Radiant Soul. Starting at 3rd level, you can use your action...lasts for 1 minute or until you end it as a bonus action. During it, you have a flying speed of 30 feet...can’t use it again until you finish a long rest. There is also an adventure league rule that allows aasimar to get permanent wings at level 5.

The idea with the wings was that whenever she activates Radiant Consumption, just like how a scourge aasimar reveal their face during combat, Elwynn's eyes and mouth will glow and then she will reveal her flightless wings that will glow and shed the bright light that causes radiant damage which the ability gives.

2019年9月18日 · I'm assuming you mean a Protector Aasimar with the Radiant Soul feature (the wings of Fallen Aasimar are flightless). The wings are incorporeal, so there is no reason they cannot be used through clothing and armour. Nothing in the feature talks about encumbrance, so normal carrying capacity rules apply.

2021年4月4日 · It is because full wings are cooler and easier to depict in art. That is all. I am currently playing an aasimar, and I am at level 4 right now and currently my wings are spectral. I intend to make them full as my level increases eventually getting full wings and a halo (with DM permission ofc). It is mostly just flavor.

2020年12月20日 · Protector and Fallen aasimar varieties have features that display spectral/incorporeal wings as part of another effect (Radiant Soul and Necrotic Shroud respectively).
