5 天之前 · A public VIF is a public IP endpoint on the AWS public network. You should treat public VIF traffic as internet-based traffic. This can become cumbersome for firewalls teams if they have to allow-list known AWS IP ranges and manage the stateful firewall for a long range of AWS IPs.
Create an AWS Direct Connect public virtual interface
Open the AWS Direct Connect console at https://console.aws.amazon.com/directconnect/v2/home. In the navigation pane, choose Virtual Interfaces. Choose Create virtual interface. Under Virtual interface type, for Type, choose Public. For Virtual interface name, enter a name for the virtual interface.
