2023年8月7日 · Wordsology, the purple and gold LSU book, labce, and the BOC book. I mainly felt like the BOC book was the most helpful tool after taking the exam and felt like I should have looked at more of the questions out of there because the wording in the BOC book and the wording on the ASCP exam were basically the same and there were a few exact recall ...

2022年8月12日 · The Success! book appears to be really expensive right now for some reason. But the Quick Review Cards are affordable. I found the ASCP BOC review book to be basically useless and only had it because it was required material for my last semester in school. I also used Labce and was getting 50-60% on the adaptive practice exams.

2022年2月15日 · BOC Study Guide, 6th Ed. (again, another ASCP-made book but just with hundreds of review questions by subject - bought it from ASCP's website in a bundle with their exam simulator) I saw a ton of posts and comments about this book not being useful due to lack of meaningful explanations.

LabCE vs BOC Interactive exams? : r/medlabprofessionals - Reddit
2023年3月28日 · LabCE. All you need to pass is LabCE, the yellow book and Wordsology. The value you get from LabCE is second to none. Just don’t expect like some people for the BOC questions to be like LabCE. Focus on the big picture such as how an abnormal lab result relates to a disease state. LabCE has specific disease states questions.

2023年7月12日 · Thank you!! I would say most similar to LabCE. Some of the questions in the BOC book were very similar but there are so many questions in that book that it’s hard to say. IMO there are a lot of quick recall questions in the BOC book but I only encountered a few of those types of questions in the actual exam.

What was your LabCE score prior to taking your MLS ASCP exam?
2021年12月16日 · I used LabCE and ASCP’s MLS exam simulator. Studied 2-4 hours a day with those for a week and a half, immediately after my last semester of MLS school. The cool thing about the ASCP exam simulator is it’ll tell you what percentage you’ve gotten correct and incorrect altogether on all the different sections of lab questions (heme, chem, etc.)
