I wanted to throw it out there to discuss what settings others are seeing that are working well for them. 2021年12月4日 · It's worth noting that AMF HEVC is actually decent vs AMF H264. But that's not surprising - the more recent versions of AMF H264 have had coding efficiency features like H264 B-frames removed (since VCE 3.4, RX 4x0+). And since AMD doesn't make it easy to find out what their HW encoders are capable of, I'm not sure if they ever added it back.

2024年3月4日 · Safest working #AMD version for this Encoder: AMD Adrenalin ver. 23.12.1 (Dec 5th) All the newer versions after this (23.40.02.03-24.2.1 are all bugged and breaks the AMF Encoder. I've reinstalled and uninstalled drivers to test this theory.

2023年11月22日 · H264 - Nvenc is king, QSV is a close second, AMD lags far behind. This is important for Twitch HEVC - Nvenc is again king, but QSV and AMD are a close second. This really doesnt matter since only YouTube takes HEVC and 6000 kbps Nvenc looks the same as 7000 kbps QSV/AMD and YT has a crazy high bitrate limit of 50 mbps.

2023年12月15日 · As a note the 7000 series made a notable step up in quality from previous AMD cards. NVENC still out performs, but the 7000 will noticeably outperform a 6000 for h.264, so make sure the advice you're getting is from 7000 users. From my understanding they're much closer these days, especially as the 7000 series added back b-frame support to AMF.

2021年11月14日 · For the past 8 months or so I've been running JF hardware wise on an AMD R 5 2400G for CPU, and GTX 1060 3GB for GPU. And while this setup runs mostly fine it hasn't been without it's problems. At first I was running it with out the D-GPU in the system, relying on the CPU's I-GPU for transcoding, but this proved to be a pretty bad experience.
