What does the pins on the cpu have to do with upgrading lol. You can do that with both lga sockets and pga sockets. It’s not like the pins aren’t useable after you use it once. Not to mention motherboards only last a couple generations (AMD is really good at keeping the same socket for multiple generations).

2019年12月18日 · AMD Warranty doesn't cover bent or broken pins, at least on Consumer Processors. Also if the Processor was sold to you wasn't in its original AMD packaging and thus was damaged, it probably wouldn't be covered anyways.
