A280-CFE with Burst is definitely worth working for. A tip for using it without burst mode, I'd definitely also recommend some practice with learning how to rapidly hit a target. The rate of fire takes you by surprise when switching from the more slower snipers, the single shot A280-CFE can fire quite fast, so definitely get the technique down ...

The A280-CFE loaded with Ion and Burst is bar none the best Anti-Starfighter gun in the whole game. You can down strafing full health fighters in 3 clicks. Bombers take about 5 volleys. Interceptors only 2 clicks, if all shots from the burst land. It REALLY pisses off the pilots, too.

Alwas struggled with the A280-CFE and always went for the NT-242. At the same time, the CFE is probably the best of the sniper rifles for medium, close range encounters. Love the firing rate.

Playing Blast is the way to go for nearly all the weapon unlocks. I would play blast, and use the A280-CFE as a DMR type gun. Hip fire and go for headshots, it shoots nearly as quick as you can pull the trigger. Stick close to teammates at all times, even if it means running away from a fight, and be "that guy" and steal kills as much as possible.

Grind grind grind until you get the extra bits. Burst mode makes it a completely different gun, and by that point it’s maybe the best in the loadout. I’m partial to the DT, but that one is far more difficult to master with close-range—something the A280 is amazing at.

So I'm using the a280-cfe and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to change it to burst fire mode. I don't even see a keybind for it in the options menu. Share Add a Comment

2018年3月1日 · The A280 is really nice until you've unlocked the burst mode for the specialist A280-CFE. This is basically a A280 on crack and turns the specialist into a close to midrange god. If you land headshots it's a one burst kill machine.

So you get: The same gun 50 more health A better means of seeing through walls (set and forget instead of having to switch) A better grenade And an awesome shotgun instead of the terrible infiltration

2021年1月8日 · A280-cfe- very good, only problem is it overheats quickly. I agree on this SE-44c- pretty obvious, great blaster Disagree on assault. A280 is easier to handle and like the A280-cfe, accurate bursts are so lethal. EL-16HFE is good but a step below imo. I see more players use the A280 than the EL-16HFE
