YoRHa Type A No.2, or just A2, is one of the protagonists of NieR:Automata, as well as the final boss in Branch D. She is also a major character in the YoRHa stage play.

Although their designated type is different (A2 is a now discontinued Attacker type whereas 2B is a newer Battler type). Also, their sizes are only slightly different. They are the same height: 168cm. A2 is slightly lighter than 2B: 139.2kg/148.8kg; her bust (73cm/84cm), waist (54cm/56cm), and hips (82cm/88cm) are all slightly smaller than 2B.

A2 or YoRHa No.2 Type A is the tritagonist of the 2017 RPG videogame NieR Automata, its anime adaptation NieR Automata Ver1.1a and main protagonist in the manga spin-off prequal YoRHa: Pearl Harbor Descent Record, as well in the flashback episodes of the anime.

2023年8月24日 · 2B and A2 have the same face which is even referenced in canon materials. Their bodies are different however, side-by-side comparisons clearly show that. Also, about A2 being based on Kaine - it was hinted that she has Kaine's memories, but as far as I remember it was confirmed that these memories are fake.
