2024年1月15日 · Personally I've found the most accurate 9MM bullets for my reloads are 115 gr. jacketed hollow points driven at, or slightly above, 1150 fps. Since they've gotten to be so expensive all I use for range training and practice are plated bullets. For competition I use Hornady HAP bullets. Not all plated bullets are the same.

2019年1月6日 · My wife an i, as well as my brother, shoot ALOT of frontier plated in 9mm & 45auto. We get excellent accuracy from their 9/45 cal bullets. Our 9mm load is Hodgdon CFE-Pistol w4.9grs and OAL 1.150 (124gr FMJ type bullet) Our 45autos are Hodgdon TiteGroup w/5.0grs and OAL 1.200 (200gr FP type bullet)

2023年11月24日 · Then it became common knowledge that the 124 gr bullets were more accurate through the barrels of the Glocks and Sigs. However the +p option was still preferred with the 124 gr bullets, i,e Federal Hydra-Shok 124 gr +p+, Winchester Ranger 127 gr +p. Now I see many opting for the 147 gr 9mm rounds in standard (non +p) pressures.

2016年12月17日 · FYI, the 357 Sig bullet is different than the 9mm bullet even though they're the same .355mm in diameter and the same weight. Basically the 357 Sig bullet is slightly longer so that it can be seated properly in the Sig neck. If you held a 9mm and a 357 sig bullet side by side you would see the obvious difference.

2017年6月21日 · The 135s, for me, seem to be the sweet spot. Coated bullets produce better accuracy and velocity and I am partial now to the Blue Bullets. Also with the tighter chamber in my Barsto barrel I get about a 4% increase in velocity (and power factor) over the stock barrel. So, slightly less powder needed than with jacketed bullets in the stock barrel.

Max for the 147 grain bullet is 7.5 grains of Power Pistol for 1,233 fps.

2020年3月24日 · First off, after I clean my brass, it gets sorted by headstamp, and length. 9mm gets shorter when fired, unlike rifle cartridges that get longer when fired. I generally put 9mm cases in the recycle bucket when they get any shorter than .740". You don't need a crimp on a 9mm. Case tension is what is supposed hold the bullet tight.
